And once you board the mountain your smile will grow. For only having 750' of vertical and 6 lifts, Donner Ski Ranch has an impressive amount of terrain. Our day there had us riding new runs all day. The runs that we went back for seconds on were the epic boarderX runs off of chair 5 and the perfect tabletops right below chair 6. Since the resort is geared more towards beginner to intermediate snow enthusiasts, we were able to get fresh powder runs clear into the afternoon. Next time you are in the Tahoe area, give Donner Ski Ranch a try - you will be pleasantly suprised.
