Snowmass - Aspen

There is no substitute for vertical feet. Downhill skiing and snowboarding use it as fuel. And with 4,406' of lift served vertical rise Snowmass is boarding heaven. And while you are adding up the vertical feet, the terrain offers something for everyone. While more than half the terrain at Snowmass is intermediate, many of these areas are wide open groomers packed with rolling floater hits.


And if you are a park/halfpipe lover, Snowmass is the place to be. With three terrain parks and two halfpipes the resort is equiped. But what made Snowmass parks unique was the diversity of terrain and hits. There were tabletop jumps for beginning boarders up to a monster 65' tabletop. The halfpipes also served differing skill levels, with a learning pipe and Trenchown Pipe, a world-class 400' long piece of snowy perfection.

The ticket price, at $65/day ($55 in spring), is hefty. But the extra dollars that you pay for a Snowmass ticket are translated into a truly first-class experience. From the village at the base, to the five on-mountain restuarants, and epic boarding terrain and parks, Snowmass is a resort you don't want to miss. And did we mention the vertical feet!
