Park City Mountain Resort ![]() Their education programs are incredibly extensive, offering ski and board lessons from never-seen-snow-before to technique clinics for 20-year veterans. And for those who just can't get enough skiing in seven hours, your standard day lift ticket is good for night skiing until 9pm on the weekdays. On the weekends you can purchase a Super-Day ticket to ride the lifts from 9am-9pm. For those who like the long trails, Park City offers up Home Run, a 3.5 mile traipse of easy/intermediate terrain that winds from the summit to the base area. Park City, in addition to plenty of expertly groomed runs, has tons of natural back-country terrain along the back side of the mountain in McConkey's, Puma, Scott's and Jupiter Bowls. And Town Lift springs right out of the edge of Historic Park City, crossing city streets on its way onto the slopes. ![]() With a peak at 10,000', Park City keeps great Utah snow at top-quality all the way to the end of the Utah season (mid-April). While neighboring resorts snow had turned slushy, Park City's snow was still light and dry. And when we came off that snow, the Village at the base was impressive in itself, boasting an incredible array of shops, restaurants, and even an outdoor ice skating rink. When 2002 rolls around, Park City will host the Olympic alpine giant slalom and all snowboarding events. Get a taste of that world-class terrain for yourself....but make sure you have a few days, because you simply cannot explore all that Park City has to offer in one. ![]() Ticket Price: $59 (multi-day packages available) Vertical Feet: 3100' Skiable Acres: 3300 Night Skiing: Yes Ability: 18% green, 44% blue, 38% black Average Annual Snowfall: 350" Lifts: 14 (4 hi-speed six-pax, 1 hi-speed quad) Parks: Multiple Terrain Park & Halfpipes Overnight Parking?: No Info: 800.222.PARK or www.parkcitymountain.com ![]() |
