The drive into Dover seemed like nice territory, too, when we finally drove it at dusk after the beach traffic had subsided. The most striking thing was that four out of five Delawarians volunteered that they thought "Delaware sucked" (I'm quoting). We only spent a few days, and it seemed O.K. to me, but the residents we ran into seemed to think differently. Hmmm... B says: A tiny state with tons of traffic. Trying to reach the Atlantic on a Saturday morning at 10am, we finally gave up after 2hrs of 5mph stop and go. We pulled off the highway and played a great board game and took a nap. I received the best haircut of my life in Dover, Delaware. ![]() |
