Had some weird rules...especially about swimming in the ocean, since you could only do so between the yellow flags if it was between 10am and 5pm. As soon as the lifeguard hops off his tower you're free to go drown yourself anywhere along the beach. The Jersey shoreline, once there, was great for RVers...there's tons of campgrounds and big parking lots. Getting there in a large rig, however, will cost you...the Turnpike and various other toll roads that link the state cost us triple at every toll booth. And there are plenty. B says: Brant Beach is in this state. What more do I have to say? But if I actually owned Brant Beach, I wouldn't make you pay to get on it! And I would let you surf, etc. outside the swimming flags!
